Message: Dear Sir: Im having trouble joining, my user name is ______ & my password is ________ and this group says they will send me a confirm to me e-mail but i never get one. Can you please help me? ~ ____
Answer and Explanation
When a new account is created on the site, an email confirmation will be sent to the email that was used which needs to be confirmed before the site can be accessed.
(This is mainly to prevent SPAM within the forums from fake accounts which is quite common on some Moodle platforms which does not have this enabled)
If any user does not receive this email and confirm it they will receive the following message when they try and login to the site:
You need to confirm your login
An email should have been sent to your address at sampleemail@yahoo.com
It contains easy instructions to complete your registration.
If you continue to have difficulty, contact the site administrator.
If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your SPAM folder and if this does not work please contact onlineedu@fpmt.org so that i can review and manually enable the account.
