Hi karensa
Have you checked that the mobi files work for you on your Kindle - two types of ebooks were added to the courses and the description below was added to help identify the type of file to use for the device you were using which was previously mobi files for Kindle and epub files for other devices - so please can you confirm if the mobi file worked for you.

Epub File Format (Format provided for Ipad, Nook and other devices)
An EPUB file (short for electronic publication) is a free and open e-book standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub and is designed for reflowable content, meaning that an EPUB reader can optimize text for a particular display device.
Most dedicated e-book readers support the EPUB format (except for the Amazon Kindle line of devices). EPUB reading software is also available for all modern smartphones. Devices that support EPUB include Android devices (using Aldiko, CoolReader, FBReader etc), Barnes & Noble Nook, BlackBerry PlayBook, iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch (using iBooks), Kobo eReader, Sony Reader and Windows Phone (using Freda or Stanzetta or other similar apps).
To add epub files to your ipad, you can add them to your iTunes library by choosing File > Add to Library, and then sync them to your device.
Mobi File Format (Format provided for Kindle devices)
A mobi file is a Mobipocket eBook file developed by a French company called Mobipocket which was bought by Amazon in 2005. Unencrypted Mobipocket books can be read on the Amazon Kindle natively, as well as in Amazon Kindle programs on other devices.
To add a mobi file to your Kindle, connect your Kindle to your computer using a USB cable and drag and drop the ".mobi" Ebook file into the documents folder on your Kindle (or into either the "Books" or "Documents" folder on your Kindle Fire). Your books will then show up in your Kindle library or in the Docs section of your Kindle Fire, as well as in the carousel.
