Hello All,
I'm wondering if you could help me with the concept of the 3 Kayas (Bodies) of a Buddha. (I believe I first read this in the "Spiritual Teacher" module...).
So there is 1) The Dharmakaya (Body of Truth); 2) Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body); and 3. Nirmanakaya (Emanation Body). I managed to find out a bit about each one with the help of our friend Google, but just couldn't get a clear sense of what the special sense of each Kaya is, and am having trouble differentiating between the 3. I'm confused. I wonder if you could help me with this, using fairly simple and short explanations -- if possible!
Thank you SO MUCH for helping out this confused Buddhist.
Sincerely,
Linda Hayward
