Hi there,
I'm not quite sure who to talk to about this small error but I took the "session 1 review quiz" and in question #6 it asks:
"In Buddhist teachings, how many mental events are said to be in a single finger snap?"
I wrote down, "65 mental events", because I didn't just write "65" they gave me the answer wrong.
Is there anything we can do about this? Does it affect my final mark? If not then there's shouldn't be a problem but perhaps for others that might make the same mistake, could it be fixed?

Thanks for your email and I am sorry that your answer was not accepted by the system. There are a very small number of questions on the site which are short answer in nature in which students type in the answer and the answer will mark it as correct if any of the possible answers are entered – in this case the possible answers were 65 or sixty five. So as your answer was not exactly this it did not recognize it as a correct answer even though it was. So this is one reason why I have mostly avoided this type of question in the quizzes.
Anyhow please don’t worry about it affecting your final mark – all the review quizzes after each teaching session are just for students practice and it is only the final exam that counts towards the final completion percentage fro completion of the module. You can also retake any of the quizzes at any time.
