The process is a touch finicky, and you usually have to hit the Reload button on your browser after making changes to your profile in order to see the changes – However, if you have made changes to your profile, and reload does not reflect these changes, then we need to take a closer look at the problem.
So first off, what operating system and browser are you using (i.e. Windows XP with Internet Explorer, Mac OS X with Safari…)? Is the image in .jpg or .png format and under 5 MB in size? Are your List of Interests separated by commas (the Interests have very specific format rules)? And when you select [Update profile] at the bottom of the page, does it show any errors (usually red font in a red box)? For example, below shows the error for using an image larger than 5 mb, AND the interests became truncated because they were not separated by commas (so I had to alter the interests in order for them to properly display):
Also, if you would like, you can email me the image and text you would like posted on your profile, and I would be happy to post them myself to your account.

I am also having trouble updating my profile. I have tried several times to change the email setting, but it keeps reverting. I have also tried to upload a photograph that is smaller than the size restrictions, but it always disappears after I hit the Update button.
I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit and IE8. I'm not receiving any errors when I try to change my profile and I tried using the Reload button after attempting to make the changes, but the changes never 'stick'.

One of the main things that needs to be done after updating your profile or after adding a picture is to ensure that you click the 'Update Profile' button and then to refresh your browser to display the new setting. But from reading your email, I think you have done this.
I am not sure the exact cause of your problem but if you could please email me your new preferred email and a copy of the picture you would like to add i will manually update your profile and let you know if i can discover the source of the problem.

I finally figured it out - there is a field named Description: (below the language field)that is a required field that I hadn't noticed before. I don't know what the description is for, so I just entered a couple of blank spaces in it then attached my photo and this time when I updated my profile, the photo was saved to it. Yay!

Hello, I too am not able to add a photo to my profile. The photo is .jpg, within the size limit. When I'm in Edit Profile, I open the photo on my computer, then click on Update Profile, then reload the page. But there is no photo there. I have checked for fields in the profile that are not completed, but see no problems there. I did add data in the Description field, which worked for another user, but not for me.
Can you help, please? Thanks.
