When you plug your Kindle into your computer you should be able to find it in your computer file explorer and view the files. If you are getting a message saying the files are already there, then you might be able to find it and delete it on the Kindle and copy it again.
Otherwise if a file is added to the Kindle it can usually be found from the Kindle browser or search function.
For the file that you transferred to your Kindle where the font was too small- was that the PDF file or the mobi file? If it was the mobi file thne you should be able to increase the font size using settings from within the Kindle.
If you continue to experience issues, please let us know the type of Kindle you have (standard Kindle, paperwhite, fire etc) so we can try and see if we can replicate the issue and offer further help
