Right now by clicking participants, I can see all the details of when people logged in to this module. It looks like the site is considering me an administartor or am I supposed to be able  to view all participants like this?

Actually this is functionality that is built into the program that we are using for the online site. Students can look at other participants of the course by clicking on 'Participants' just as you have done.

It is possible to update your profile so that your email is hidden when other students view your profile and i would recommend this for all students who wish to keep their email private. Instructions on how to do this can be seen in the following link:
