Hello Karen, in future when you change your OS or even as a general security measure, its good to save important files to an external HD or pen drive. I now use a series of 32MB microSD cards or 2 - 16GB USB pen drives, plus a primary backup 350GB HD (up to 1 TB) but I am not sure what connectivity you have on an iPad. Susan

Thank you for your email and the answer to your question, is Yes, it is possible to re-download certificates already received. To do this you simple need to go to the certificate webpage within whatever course you have completed and want to download the cert from and yes should see the date the your originally received the certificate, together with an option to 'Review your certificate' and clicking this allows you to open and download your certificate again
