This file comes in 2 parts, and my Win Media Player can not open it.

I'm wondering if the file is corrupt?

My unzipper software has no problem ...

My unzipper software has no problem opening other zip files.

It takes a lot of time to download files individually, and then I have to transfer them all to my Android. Lots of time when I could be studying the material.

Thanks for your post in the Technical support forum. I have just downloaded the full zip file for DB Module 3 (which is available at https://onlinelearning.fpmt.org/mod/resource/view.php?id=2665)

This downloaded as one file for me and i was able to unzip it using Windows and open the MP3 audio files in Windows Media Player.

So it seems the source file is working ok and i think it might be possible that the download you tried became corrupted during download and i would suggest that you download this file again and try to unzip it and play the files.

The zip file is quite large (165 MB) but hopefully you should be able to let it download in the background for you and save some time and hopefully it is quicker than downloading the files individually. However if it does not work for you again then i would suggest that you download some of the files indivually and see if they work for you. I know this take longer but at least it is a one off process.

Thanks for getting back to me so soon, and I finally did get Mod. 3 downloaded okay.

Now however, when I tried to download the entire Module 4 (The Spiritual Teacher) nothing at all happened. I open some on the website and saw how huge it is. Perhaps this is why?

If you can please try and open it yourself, I would appreciate it? I will be doing the same throughout the whole course.

I just checked the zip file for DB Module 4 at https://onlinelearning.fpmt.org/mod/resource/view.php?id=2666 and was successfully able to download this ok.

The main thing is that you do not just try and click on the zip file as this may attempt to open the actual zip file (As opposed to downloading it) - the best thing to do is to right click on the file and then select the option to 'Save File as' or 'Save Link as' or whatever option your internet browser shows for saving a file. Hopefully this might work for you.

Again, I appreciate your help; just having you check to see if DBM-4 opens was enough to make me suspicious of the inferior Zip compression software I was using.

I loaded a new Zip program called WinRaR.exe and voila! So, the whole time I was having the difficulty, it was because I was using a program called 7-Zip that did not work.

Also, if anyone else reading this has this problem, they might want to make sure they are downloading a zip program specific to PC or MAC 32-bit or 64 -bit. They need to check their computer to find out what version they are running, because 32-bit does not work on 64-bit!
